HVAC Service Technician

About the Role

A/C Mechanix is looking for dedicated, enthusiastic, and experienced HVAC Service Technicians to join our team in Longwood, FL.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnosis and Repair

• Conduct thorough diagnostic assessments to identify HVAC issues and perform efficient repairs to restore proper functioning

Maintenance Services

• Execute routine maintenance including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting system components for peak performance

Installation Support

• Assist with new HVAC system installations, including equipment handling, ductwork, and electrical connections under senior guidance

Customer Interaction

• Provide professional service explanations, recommendations, and address customer concerns promptly

Documentation

• Maintain accurate records of services, work orders, and inventory usage

Safety Compliance

• Adhere to all safety protocols when handling equipment, tools, and materials

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year technician experience required
• Valid driver’s license with clean Motor Vehicle Record
• Must pass background and drug screening checks
• Ability to own and use power tools effectively
• Capability to wear required personal protective equipment per OSHA regulations
• Must work in construction environments (varying weather conditions)
• Complete assigned tasks within company timeframe standards
